12 Year Old Boy Killed On Pocket Bike
Author:Joe
A twelve year old boy was hit by a car while riding his pocket bike on the street where he lives. No information whether he was wearing a helmet was given, but let this serve as a reminder to everyone that you should always ride responsibly.
It isn’t wise to ride your pocket rocket on any street, as tempting as it may be. I know most of you do ride in the street, and that won’t change just by reading a post on the internet, but seriously consider the consequences of getting into a collission with car.
As for the parents of the boy, shame on them. I don’t know if they were watching hom or not, but it doesn’t matter. Police said neither excessive speed or alcohol was involved in the crash, therefore we have no choice but to assume the driver simply did not see the boy on his mini bike. The next car you pull out in front of may not see you either. Remember that.

What’s stupid about that? You think that every car is going to see a 23″ tall pocketbike with a 12 year old kid on them, riding in the middle of a public road where they’re not supposed to be?

For anyone to pass judgement on such a tragedy is shameless. I see children riding bikes & skateboards every day in all areas, especially that age group (12) & do not see the parents standing there watching them. How can you put shame on these parents? As if they are not hurting enough. This was purely an accident, all involved are innocent victims. I would like to be able to say I am as perfect as YOU & could sit back and say people are stupid and should be shamed when accidents happen, but then again, thank the Lord I’m not perfect. I think it’s a shame this happened, however, you do not know the circumstances around the accident and should not point fingers at anyone of place blame on the machine he was riding.
